ENTRY DEADLINES

DEADLINES for accepting the NSA SUPER WORLD BERTHS are as follows:
Team that wins a Super World NIT must submit $350.00 entry fee within 14 DAYS from the end of the tournament.
Team that wins a State Championship must submit $350.00 entry fee within 14 DAYS from the end of the tournament.
Top TWO teams in Regional Tournament must submit $350.00 entry fee within 14 DAYS from the end of the tournament.
Top THREE teams in World Series must submit $350.00 entry fee within SEVEN (7) Days following the completion of the World Series.
NOTE:  ALL Entries are to be sent DIRECTLY to the Super World Coordinators office by the entry deadline.
 


Failure for the team to VALIDATE THEIR BERTH, submit the Entry Form, Official NSA ONLINE Roster, SIGNED with Complete and Correct information, and the Entry Fee in Money Order or Cashier Check form by the deadline listed above will result in the team losing the berth and all travel monies won.  Deadlines will be strictly enforced.

  How to Retain the Super World Series Berths:

    1.  Teams must meet all deadlines and paperwork requirements listed in the tournament packets. 
          INCLUDING having their roster ONLINE with ALL information COMPLETE for ALL PLAYERS.
            
Note: States that use SS# for their DL# must supply at least their last four digits of Drivers License #.
         
    2.  Teams receiving a berth from a SUPER NIT must participate in their
State Championships :
        
PLUS either the Super Regional or World Series Tournament.

     3.  Teams receiving a berth from their STATE TOURNAMENT must participate in either or both:
          Super Regional or World Series Tournament

          Note: Participate means to physically play in the tournament. 
                    Paying for and then Not Showing for a tournament will NOT validate the Super World Berth.

Rosters:
      
Teams advancing to the SUPER WORLD may add up to two (2) players between September 1st  and prior to the
        Tournament Roster Deadline - ONLY IF THE TEAM HAS ROOM ON THEIR TWENTY-FIVE (25) PLAYER ROSTER

       The players MUST come from a current NSA online roster of the same or lower class that has not WON or RECEIVED
       a berth to the Super World Series
.
       You must fill out and submit the Player Addition form above for your State Director's approval.

How to Qualify for Adult NSA 2008 "SUPER" World Series:           

Rosters: Official NSA ONLINE Roster, SIGNED with ALL INFORMATION Complete and Correct is MANDATORY

          Teams that Qualify for the Super World Series must VALIDATE their berth!

Note: Men's Teams that Qualify to play in the Super World Series Tournament should be prepared to start
         play on Friday of the scheduled tournament.

    How to Qualify for the NSA Super World Series:

    Finish 1st Place in a "SUPER NIT" - Single Class "B" - "C" - "D" - "E"
        
    NOTE:  IF the Super NIT has 16 or more teams participating, 2nd Place also receives a Super berth.
    Team receives an Unpaid BERTH to the SUPER WORLD
    NEW for 2008: Teams MUST VALIDATE the berth by playing in their State Championships PLUS either the Super Regional or World Series.
    Teams that finish in First Place in a Super World NIT will be the only team that will receive travel money.
    Travel is based on $50.00 per team in the NIT Tournament, with the maximum amount of money that
    a team can receive from an individual NIT is $1250.00
    NOTE: Teams must pay a $350.00 Entry Fee to secure the berth within 14 DAYS of the end of the tournament or
    the berth will automatically be passed.
      NEW for 2008:  Entries are to be submitted directly to the NSA Super World Coordinator's office!     
    Note:  Travel money will be passed down through the fourth place team if the top three teams decline the berth.
    If all four teams refuse the berth, the travel money will remain at the NSA National Headquarters.
     IF the Super World Series berth is passed then the team accepting the Super World Series PASSED BERTH,
     MUST PARTICIPATE in the State, PLUS either the Super Regional or World Series to validate the Super World Series berth.

    Rosters: Official NSA ONLINE Roster, SIGNED with ALL INFORMATION Complete and Correct is MANDATORY.
    Roster must be turned in by your State Director by entry deadline to be eligible to participate in an NIT tournament.
     

    NSA will be offering "B/C" Super World NIT's in 2008.   The "B/C" is the ONLY combined division that will be allowed.
    Berth's will be awarded as follows; The highest finishing in each class B & C will receive an UNPAID Berth to Super World with Travel Money.
    NEW for 2008: Teams MUST VALIDATE the berth by playing in their State Championships PLUS either the Super Regional or World Series.
    (One "B" berth and One "C" berth will be given, regardless of number of teams in tournament).
    Travel is based on $50.00 per team in the NIT Tournament, with the maximum amount of money that a team can receive from an individual NIT is $1250.00
    The travel money will be retained by the respective classifications.  
    Example on travel - 3 B teams and 8 C teams would be as follows - The B Berth and travel would be $150, The C Berth and travel would be $400.
    Based on the number of teams in the B/C NIT from each classification.
    NOTE: Teams must pay a $350.00 Entry Fee to secure the berth within 14 DAYS of the end of the tournament or
    the berth will automatically be passed.
      NEW for 2008:  Entries are to be submitted directly to the NSA Super World Coordinator's office! 
     IF the Super World Series berth is passed then the team accepting the Super World Series PASSED BERTH,
     MUST PARTICIPATE in the State, PLUS either the Super Regional or World Series to validate the Super World Series berth.

    Rosters: Official NSA ONLINE Roster, SIGNED with ALL INFORMATION Complete and Correct is MANDATORY.
    Roster must be turned in by your State Director by entry deadline to be eligible to participate in an NIT tournament.


     Finish 1st Place in a “State Championship”
    Team receives an unpaid berth to the SUPER World.  PLUS team MUST participate in either the Super Regional or
    the World Series to validate their berth.
    Exception: In States that hold Multiple State Tournaments (Ex: North & South), those States shall also hold
    a SUPER State Tournament that will determine the team who shall receive the Super World Series Berth.
    NOTE: Teams must pay a $350.00 Entry Fee to secure the berth within 14 DAYS of the end of the tournament
     or the berth will automatically be passed.
       NEW for 2008:  Entries are to be submitted directly to the NSA Super World Coordinator's office!                      
    NEW for 2008:
      Berth from Men's Class B-C-D-E State Championship can be passed down until accepted.  
    Rosters: Official NSA ONLINE Roster, SIGNED with ALL INFORMATION Complete and Correct is MANDATORY.
    Roster must be turned into your State Director by entry deadline to be eligible to participate in the State tournament.
    Men's B-C-D-E teams MUST QUALIFY to participate in their State Championships.  See link above for details.

    Finish 1st or 2nd* in a "REGIONAL Tournament"

    1st Place team receives a DIRECT Unpaid BERTH to the SUPER WORLD.   (Team may bypass the World Series) 
    Plus travel money that is based on $25.00 per team in the National Regional Tournament.
    2nd Place team receives a DIRECT Unpaid Berth to the SUPER WORLD.  (team may bypass the World Series),
     with NO TRAVEL Expenses.
    NOTE: Teams must pay a $350.00 Entry Fee to secure the berth within 14 DAYS of the end of the tournament
    or the berth will automatically be passed to next highest finisher without a berth.

    NEW for 2008:  Entries are to be submitted directly to the NSA Super World Coordinator's office!
    Note: Travel money will be passed down through the fourth place team if the top teams decline the berth. 
    If all four teams refuse the berth the travel money will remain at the NSA National Headquarters.
    Rosters: Official NSA ONLINE Roster, SIGNED with ALL INFORMATION Complete and Correct is MANDATORY.
    Roster must be turned in by your State Director by entry deadline to be eligible to participate in the Regional tournament.
    Teams MUST QUALIFY to participate in their Regional Tournament.  See link above for details.

     Finish 1st through 3rd in the "WORLD SERIES"
    1st and 2nd Place receives a Direct Unpaid BERTH to the SUPER World.   
    Plus travel money that is based on $12.50 per team in the World Series Tournament.    

    3rd Place
    receives a Direct Unpaid Berth to the SUPER World, with NO TRAVEL EXPENSES. 
    NOTE:
    Teams must post a $350.00 Entry Fee to secure the berth within 7 (Seven) days of the completion of
    the World
    Series or berth will automatically be passed. 
    NEW for 2008:  Entries are to be submitted directly to the NSA Super World Coordinator's office!
    Note: Travel money will be passed down through the fourth place team if the top three teams decline the berth.  
    If all four teams refuse the berth the travel money will remain at the NSA National Headquarters.

     NEW for 2008:   Men's Class C - D - E Divisions
    The HIGHEST POINT Team on the National Point System (PlayNSA.com) in EACH STATE on September 1st
    that meets the following criteria will receive a berth to the Super World Series:
        1. Team has NOT yet received a berth to the Super World Series
        2. Team is the Highest UNQUALIFIED Team on the PlayNSA Point System for their Class on September 1st.
        3. Team MUST have participated in their STATE Championships and AT LEAST 4 (four) additional NSA Tournaments during the season.
     

    NOTE:
    Teams must post a $350.00 Entry Fee to secure the berth within 7 (Seven) days of determining the
    Points Berth or berth will automatically be passed.
     
    NEW for 2008:  Entries are to be submitted directly to the NSA Super World Coordinator's office!
    Note: NO TRAVEL MONEY WILL BE AWARDED with this berth.
    Rosters: Official NSA ONLINE Roster, SIGNED with ALL INFORMATION Complete and Correct is MANDATORY.
     

    NOTE: Travel money is to be given out through the NSA National Headquarters ONLY.  Teams will receive their travel funds in a form of a check
    made payable to their representative (coach/manager listed through the online system) on file in the NSA National Office.  Checks will be handed
    out AFTER the team has participated in their FIRST GAME at the SUPER WORLD SERIES. 
    Teams that do not participate, if for any reason they do not have enough players to field a team or are a NO SHOW, those teams do not meet
    the requirements to receive Travel Money.

Declined Berths will be passed down by the Zone VP ONLY!  There are NO "At Large" Berths.

 It is the teams responsibility to VALIDATE their BERTH and ensure the correct entry fees, form of payment and completed 
forms needed are
RECEIVED by the SUPER WORLD COORDINATOR no later than the tournament Entry Deadline
