How Adult NSA teams Qualify for:
NOTE: It is the teams responsibility to
VALIDATE their Berth and ensure the
complete and correct information is RECEIVED by their
State Director (EXCEPT SUPER WORLDS - See Below) no later than the Tournament Entry Deadline posted
in the Post Season Packets.
Failure for the team to VALIDATE their Berth, submit the Entry Form,
Official NSA ONLINE Roster, SIGNED
with
Complete and Correct
information,
and the Entry Fee in Money Order or Cashier Check form by the deadline
listed will
result in the
team losing the berth and all
travel monies won. Deadlines
will be strictly enforced.

NIT's:
All NSA Registered Teams are qualified to participate in
National Invitational Tournaments.
Teams MUST enter NIT's through their
State Director - if no director is listed, contact your Zone VP.

Correct is MANDATORY
STATE
Tournaments: All Teams Must be NSA Registered.

Men's Class B, C, D, and E only : All teams
must participate in a NSA Sanctioned Qualifier or
an NIT during the current
season in order to play in an
NSA State Championship.
It is the teams

Finish 1st through 6th Place in the "STATE TOURNAMENT"
and your team qualifies for the NSA National Regional Tournament.

Finish 1st through 6th Place or Top 20% in a "WORLD SERIES NIT"
PLUS team MUST participate in the STATE Tournament to validate Regional Berth.

Finish 1st through 6th Place or Top 20% in a "SUPER WORLD SERIES NIT"
PLUS team MUST participate in the STATE Tournament to validate Regional Berth.

Declined Berths will be passed down by the Zone VP ONLY. There are NO "At Large" Berths.
NOTE: Teams MUST participate in STATE Tournaments! This means a team must physically play in the Tournament or lose their berth.
Paying for the tournament and not showing up OR not having enough players will be cause for a team to lose their berth.
It is the teams responsibility to ensure the correct entry fees, form of payment and completed forms
needed are RECEIVED by their State Director no later than the tournament Entry Deadline.

PLUS team MUST participate in the STATE Tournament to validate World Berth.

- OR -
Finish in the TOP 10% of the "STATE TOURNAMENT" with 40 or more teams.
1st through 3rd Places receive a DIRECT Unpaid BERTH to WORLD SERIES - team may bypass Regional
The next 10% receive a WORLD SERIES Berth, but MUST participate in the National Regional to validate World Berth.

Finish 1st through 3rd in the "WORLD SERIES NIT."
1st Place receives Unpaid BERTH - team MUST participate in either State or Regional to validate World Berth.
2nd & 3rd Place receives unpaid BERTH to WORLD SERIES - PLUS team MUST participate in the STATE.

Finish 1st through 3rd in a "SUPER WORLD SERIES NIT."
PLUS team MUST participate in the STATE to validate the World Berth.
- OR -
Finish in the TOP 10% in "SUPER WORLD SERIES NIT." with 40 or more teams.

Teams that Qualify for the Super World Series must VALIDATE their berth!
Note:
Men's Teams that Qualify to play in the Super World
Series Tournament should be prepared to start
play on
Friday of the scheduled tournament.

Finish 1st Place in a "SUPER WORLD NIT."
IF the SUPER NIT has 16 or More teams, 2nd Place will also receive a berth.
Team receives an Unpaid BERTH to the SUPER WORLD.
Team MUST Participate in State PLUS either the Regional or World to VALIDATE the berth.
Teams that finish in First Place in a Super World NIT will be the only team that will receive travel money
that is based on $50.00 per team in the NIT Tournament with a maximum of $1250.00 being received.
NOTE: Teams must pay a $300.00 Entry Fee DIRECTLY TO THE SUPER WORLD COORDINATORS OFFICE to secure
the berth within 14 DAYS of end of tournament or berth will automatically be passed.
Note: Travel money will be passed down through the fourth place team if the top three teams decline the berth.
If all four teams refuse the berth, the travel money will remain at the NSA National Headquarters.
Teams accepting the Super World Series berth, MUST PARTICIPATE in their State Championships PLUS one or more of the following
tournaments to VALIDATE their Super Berth: Super Regional or World Series.

State Champions - Men's "B" - Men's "C" - Men's "D" - Men's "E"
Finish 1st Place in a State Championship - receive an unpaid berth to the SUPER World Series.
PLUS team MUST participate in either the Regional or World Series to validate the SUPER berth.
Exception: In States that hold Multiple State Tournaments, those States shall also hold a SUPER State
Tournament that will determine the team who shall receive the Super World Series Berth.
NOTE: Teams must pay a $300.00 Entry Fee DIRECTLY TO THE SUPER WORLD COORDINATORS OFFICE to secure
the berth within 14 DAYS of end of tournament or berth will automatically be passed.
Note: Berth's from Men's Class "B" - "C" - "D" - "E" State Championship CAN be passed down until accepted.
Teams accepting the Super World Series berth, MUST PARTICIPATE in one or more of the following
tournaments to VALIDATE their Super Berth: Super Regional or World Series.

Finish 1st or 2nd* in a "SUPER OR NATIONAL REGIONAL".
1st Place in Super or National Regional receives a DIRECT Unpaid BERTH to the SUPER WORLD - team may bypass the World Series
Plus travel money that is based on $25.00 per team in the National Regional Tournament.
2nd Place receives a DIRECT Unpaid Berth to the SUPER WORLD - team may bypass the World Series,
with NO TRAVEL Expenses.
NOTE: Teams must pay a $300.00 Entry Fee DIRECTLY TO THE SUPER WORLD COORDINATORS OFFICE to secure
the berth within 14 DAYS of end of tournament or berth will automatically be passed.
Note: Travel money will be passed down through the fourth place team if the top three teams decline the berth.
If all four teams refuse the berth the travel money will remain at the NSA National Headquarters.

Finish 1st through 3rd in the "WORLD SERIES"
1st and 2nd Place receives a direct Unpaid Berth to Super
Plus travel money that is based on $12.50 per team in the World Series Tournament.
3rd Place receives a direct Unpaid Berth to the Super World, with NO TRAVEL EXPENSES.
NOTE: Teams must pay a $300.00 Entry Fee DIRECTLY TO THE SUPER WORLD COORDINATORS OFFICE to secure
the berth within 7 (Seven) days of the completion of the World Series or berth will automatically be passed.
Note: Travel money will be passed down through the fourth place team if the top three teams decline the berth.
If all four teams refuse the berth the travel money will remain at the NSA National Headquarters.

Point Leader in each STATE for Men’s B – C – D- E On 9-1-08 will Receive
an Unpaid BERTH to the SUPER WORLD
Points are from the NSA National Point System ONLY - No added bonus points in your state will count toward the awarding of the berth.
Berth will be awarded to the Highest Point Leader as of 9-1-08 that has not already received a Super World Berth.
Berth cannot be passed down.
Team MUST meet the following Criteria: Team must have played in a minimum of 5 Tournaments, one of which must have been State.
(4 Tournaments + State Championships)BERTH ACCEPTANCE: Teams must pay $300.00 Entry Fee to the Super World Coordinator to secure
the berth WITHIN 14 DAYS or berth will be lost.
