BATS:   Only NSA approved bats will be allowed.  Check the National Website for a complete 
and 
up to date listing of approved equipment.   www.playnsa.com  click on:  Approved Equipment
            
Please check bats by Manufacturer - Model NUMBER and NAME, if a bat is not posted on the approved list, it will NOT be allowed.
** Note: It is the coaches/players' responsibility to check their bat(s) to the list prior to bringing them into play.
            You may contact the manufacturer to inquire on the status of an unlisted bat.

Register your team, enter your roster, and enter Tournaments ONLINE.
Register your team online.  Once your team information is submitted, you will receive instructions on where to MAIL your fee.  
Once the registration fee is received, your Director will "Approve" your registration. You will then receive your registration number via e-mail. 
You can then use your registration number to purchase team insurance, enter your roster online, and enter Tournaments online.

Note:  The email you receive with your registration number is your receipt and registration card for the year.

HOW TO QUALIFY  FOR GFP WORLDS
YOUR TEAM MUST QUALIFY FOR THE NSA WORLD SERIES TOURNAMENT. 
CONTACT YOUR STATE DIRECTOR IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS.   NSA State Directors are listed at: www.playnsa.com
                                                                                              
If no State Director is listed, contact your Zone VP's office.

NSA Sanctioned Organized League - For every eight (8) teams per age group participating in an organized NSA league, one (1) World Series Berth will be awarded.  Team must participate in the State Tournament. League paperwork & the Teams receiving the berth’s must be sent into the State and Regional Directors at the completion of the league play.

          NSA World Qualifying Tournaments - For each qualifying tournament - if the tournament has between
          4-18  teams participating per age group, one (1) berth will be awarded. If the qualifying tournament has
          19 or more teams participating per age group, two (2) berths will be awarded.

                     State and/or World Series Tournament if they wish.

NSA World Series N.I.T. Tournaments - 1st Place - receives a "Direct Berth" to World Series and can by-pass the State Tournament.  2nd & 3rd Place - Receive a World Series Berth, but MUST participate in the State Tournament to retain their berth.

NSA SUPER N.I.T. Tournaments -
1st Place Receives a Direct UNPAID Berth to the World Series and can bypass the State and/or World Series if they  wish.                                                                                             
2nd through 4th Place - Receive a berth to the World Series, but MUST participate in the State Tournament to validate their Berth.
 

         NSA State Tournament - Finish 1st through 4th place in your Age and Division OR
         TOP 10% (if more than 40 teams per division) If there are not enough teams to run "A" and "B"
         Divisions per age group, Two "A" Berths and two "B" Berths will be awarded.

         FALL Qualifiers - Teams participating in Fall QUALIFYING Tournaments to receive berths for the following years World Series:
               
Team must qualify in the age & division they will be participating in (qualifying for) the following year. 
                                    If your team will play in 16u next year, they must play and qualify in the 16u division in the Fall Qualifier.
                Team must retain a certain percentage of players from the roster they used to qualified with for the following year - State Director to verify.
                                CHECK WITH YOUR STATE DIRECTOR for details - minimum # is listed in rule book - State Director can enforce stricter guidelines.
                The following year, Team must participate in at least one NSA Qualifier (in their Home State) and their State Championships to retain the berth.
                Teams not following all the criteria will lose the berth received during Fall Qualifiers.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
PARTICIPATE / PLAY in the STATE TOURNAMENT means a team must physically play in the tournament
or lose their berth.  Paying & NOT SHOWING or not having enough players for the STATE TOURNAMENT WILL BE CAUSE FOR YOU TO LOSE YOUR BERTH!  
PARTICIPATING/PLAYING in your STATE TOURNAMENT ONLY,
DOES NOT Automatically Qualify your team for the World Series.

HOW TO QUALIFY FOR GFP "SUPER"  WORLDS
YOUR TEAM MUST QUALIFY FOR THE NSA SUPER WORLD SERIES TOURNAMENT.

  • SUPER NIT Tournaments:       Click here tournament locations & dates
    1st Place receives a DIRECT, PAID BERTH to the Super World Series 
    The First Place team may bypass State and/or their World Series Tournament.

        
    The Tournament Director of the NIT PAYS the 1st Place berth.
    ALL Teams have 10 DAYS from the date of NIT to accept their berth and are required
    to submit a $250 check upon acceptance and submit with entry form. 
    The first place team will receive a refund for their bond check upon the teams’ attendance
    at the Super World Series.
    Berths may be passed down if declined by a higher finishing team, all passed berths are UNPAID.

          NSA-SCHUTT® Scholarship SUPER NIT  - 1st Place - receives an unpaid "Direct Berth" to SUPER World Series and can by-pass the
                     State and/or World Series Tournament if they wish. 
                     2nd through 4th Place - Receive a World Series Berth, but MUST participate in the State Tournament to validate their berth.
                    
In addition to GREAT AWARDS from SCHUTT SPORTS
® for 1st-3rd Place Teams.   One scholarship per age division will be awarded.

  • STATE CHAMPIONSHIP Tournaments:
      
    1st Place receives an UNPAID DIRECT Berth to the Super World
        
    Berths can be awarded to the State Champions in both “A” and “B” Divisions: ONLY IF the State holds SEPARATE “A” and “B” State Championships
          If the State holds only ONE State Championship per Age Division, then ONLY an “A” berth may be awarded to the Championship team –
            NO “B” Berth may be awarded to ANY team.  Berth from the State Championships CANNOT be passed to a lower finishing team.
                 Team can bypass the World Series if they wish.  Berth can be passed to down ONLY to the 2nd Place team i
    f declined by 1st Place team.
  • WORLD SERIES Tournaments:
    1st through 13th
    Place finishers in the NSA World Series receives
        automatic berths to the Super World Series.   TOP 16 TEAMS!

    Note:  Berths awarded to the 1st Place team in the WORLD SERIES are PAID berths. 
    All other berths are Unpaid. 
    The Tournament Director of the World Series PAYS the
    berths awarded to the 1st Place teams. ALL Teams are required to submit a $250
    check upon acceptance and submit with entry form. 
    The first place team will receive a refund for their bond check upon the teams’ attendance
    at the Super World Series.
    There are no Passed Berths.
