ENTRY & DEADLINE: Entry fees, rosters, and other information MUST be in the hands of
your respective State Director  no later than Wednesday, August 20, 2003.
Entry Fee is $250.00 with payment made by Money Order, Cashiers Check, or Cash ONLY.  
Late entries will NOT be accepted.  Personal checks will NOT be accepted.   
Entry fees MUST go through your State Director – NO EXCEPTIONS!  
Under NO circumstances will a team be permitted to submit a roster at the tournament site.
All teams must be NSA Registered.

FORMAT: 3 Game Minimum

MANAGERS MEETING:  A Managers meeting will be held on Friday September 5th at 6:30PM at Cherry Park.  
All teams must have a representative at this meeting as important tournament matters will be discussed.

ROSTER CHECK IN: YOUR STATE DIRECTOR must submit Rosters to the tournament site.
Roster checks will be conducted prior to the team’s first game.  
Each player MUST have a Government Issue photo ID at all times.   
Names will NOT be added to any roster at the tournament site.
Additional roster checks may be conducted at any time during the tournament.

SOFTBALL: Softballs will be furnished by NSA.


BATS:  Only NSA approved bats will be allowed.  Check the National Website for a complete and 
            up to date listing of approved bats.    www.playnsa.com  click on:  Approved Equipment
             If a bat is not posted on the approved list, it will NOT be allowed.

TOURNAMENT DRAW: WednesdayThursday, September 4, 2003, teams may call between 9:00am - 2:00pm

PROTEST: There will be a $75.00 CASH ONLY protest fee. If protest is allowed, the fee will be refunded.

CONDITIONS: The tournament committee reserves the right to rule on matters as they may occur,
including any deemed necessary to complete the tournament. This includes changing the tournament 
format, due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, etc.). The committee assumes that all players are 
competing at their own risk and will not be liable for accidents or injuries. Entry in to this tournament 
constitutes agreement of these conditions.

UNIFORMS: To be in strict accordance with NSA team dress code.   NO METAL CLEATS!

PLAYING RULES: NSA rules will govern all play in strict accordance with the NSA Rule Book.
1.  20 run rule after 3 innings, 15 after 4 and 10 after 5
2.  NSA Approved Balls will be supplied
3.  Teams must be prepared to play 30 minutes prior to scheduled game time.
4.  Lineups due 10 minutes prior to game time.
5.  All players must carry picture ID with them at all times during the tournament.
    All players will be ID'd at this tournament.
6.  All other NSA rules will govern tournament play.
7.  NO Jewlery is allowed.

   NOTE:  ANY Team found with illegal, ineligible, suspended player(s) or teams that have not met
    the NSA Qualifying procedures will be immediately disqualified and removed from the tournament.
    Teams will be removed without refund to their entry fee, and without reimbursement for any
    travel expenses incurred by the team.  The team, coach and player(s) will be suspended from NSA.
