Entry in to this tournament constitutes acknowledgement and agreement to this condition.
Please DO NOT call the Tournament Director and request an exemption from an
Early Start Time as ALL Teams will be expected to play the earliest game time.

ENTRY & DEADLINE: Entry Form, Official NSA ONLINE Rosters - Complete and Correct,
and Entry Fees MUST be submitted and received by your respective State Director
no later than 
 Wednesday, September 8, 2010.    Late entries will NOT be accepted.
Entry Fee is $290.00  with payment made by Money Order, Cashiers Check, or Cash ONLY.  
Personal & Sponsor or Company checks will NOT be accepted. 
Entry fees MUST go through your State Director–NO EXCEPTIONS!
Under NO circumstances will a team be permitted to submit a roster at the tournament site.

NOTE:  Failure for the team to submit the Entry Form, Ensure their State Director has a SIGNED COPY of the
Official NSA ONLINE Roster with ALL information Complete and Correct, and Entry Fee by the deadline listed
above will result in the team losing the berth and all travel monies won.

** ALL TEAMS MUST BE properly registered ONLINE with NSA and their ROSTER MUST be ONLINE with
ALL INFORMATION COMPLETE and CORRECT
by the ENTRY DEADLINE or the team will not be allowed to participate.
State Directors MUST have a SIGNED copy of your team roster on file.  Please verify with them if they need a copy.

FORMAT: Double Elimination

MANDATORY MANAGERS MEETING:  WILL BE HELD AT THE DRURY INN IN ROOM 113 at 4:00 PM - Friday,  September 17, 2010

Directions to the hotel.   Take I-64 to exit 16 (Green Mount Rd.).   Drury Inn sits right off the exit on the south side of I-64.  UPDATED 9-13-10

ROSTER CHECK IN:  1 Hour prior to first game
Bring Entire Team, Roster Check with Driver's License or government issue photo ID, will be done at this time.  
Check in will be done at the Pavilion or Press Box depending on weather.
YOUR STATE DIRECTOR
must submit/approve Rosters to the tournament site.
Roster checks  will be conducted prior to the team’s first game. 
Each player will be required to have a GOVERNMENT ISSUE PICTURE ID with them at all times.  
Wristbands will be secured on all legal players wrists and must be worn during the entire tournament.
If player loses band then they must be rechecked with their Driver's License or government issue photo ID.
No Driver's License - government issue photo ID, NO Band - NO Play.
Names will NOT be added to any roster at the tournament site.
Additional roster checks may be conducted at any time during the tournament.

SOFTBALL: Balls will be supplied by Tournament Director

BATS:   Only NSA approved bats will be allowed.  Check the National Website for a complete 
and up to date listing of approved equipment.   www.playnsa.com  click on:  Approved Equipment
Please check bats by Manufacturer - Model NUMBER and NAME, if a bat is not posted on
the approved list, it will NOT be allowed.    ** Note
: It is the coaches/players' responsibility
to check their bat(s) to the list prior to bringing them into play.

                        You may contact the manufacturer to inquire on the status of an unlisted bat.

FIRST GAME TIME/TOURNAMENT DRAW: Bracket will be posted at www.nsamissouri.com on Tuesday, September 14 , 2010

GAMES
:  It is required that all teams be AT THE FIELD, READY TO PLAY - 1/2 Hour PRIOR TO
SCHEDULED GAME TIME
.  GAMES MAY BEGIN UP TO 30 MINUTES EARLY IF FIELD IS OPEN.  

PROTEST: There will be a $75.00 CASH ONLY protest fee. If protest is allowed, the fee will be refunded.

CONDITIONS: The tournament committee reserves the right to rule on matters as they may occur,
including any deemed necessary to complete the tournament. This includes changing the tournament
format, due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, etc.). The committee assumes that all players are 
competing at their own risk and will not be liable for accidents or injuries. Entry in to this tournament 
constitutes agreement of these conditions.

UNIFORMS: To be in strict accordance with NSA team dress code. NO Metal or Metal Tipped CLEATS!

PLAYING RULES: NSA rules will govern all play in strict accordance with the NSA Rule Book.

     NOTICE:  It is the responsibility of the Coach/Manager and/or Sponsor for knowing the NSA rules and bylaws.
    Ignorance of an NSA rule or bylaw does not negate the penalty.
    Entry in to any NSA tournament constitutes acknowledgement and agreement to all rules and bylaws of NSA,
    including the refund policy. 
There are NO entry refunds after the entry deadline.

   If the tournament dates include a Friday Date, the team understands the Tournament MAY BEGIN
    ON FRIDAY, and that THE TEAM MAY BE REQUIRED TO PLAY ON FRIDAY.
    Entry in to this tournament constitutes acknowledgement and agreement to these conditions.

    NOTE:  ANY Team found with illegal, ineligible, suspended player(s) or teams that have not met the
    NSA Qualifying procedures will be immediately disqualified and removed from the tournament.  Teams will
    be removed without refund to their entry fee, and without reimbursement for any travel expenses or any other
    fees incurred by the team, spectators or sponsors.  The team, coach and player(s) can be suspended from NSA.

HOME RUN RULE: Four (4) with one up.

ADMISSION:  $5.00 per day/ $12.00 per weekend  
Be sure your team knows about this so there will be no embarrassment at the gate for your team or spectators. 
NOTE: There are no refunds of admission charges for any reason.

AWARDS: Individual & team sponsor awards will be given in accordance with NSA Rules.

Berths & Travel $: 1st-3rd Place teams receive berth to the NSA Men's "B" SUPER World Series
that will be played in October 1-3, 2010 - Las Vegas, NV.  The berths are unpaid berths.
First & Second Place teams will receive Travel Money based on $12.50 per team entered into the 
World Series.  Travel money will be passed down through the 4 th Place team if top teams decline.
The entry fee of $350.00 for the Super World Series must be submitted DIRECTLY to
THE SUPER WORLD COORDINATOR
, WITHIN SEVEN (7) DAYS FOLLOWING THE
COMPLETION OF THE WORLD TOURNAMENT to retain the berth and travel money.

Failure to submit the entry fee & proper paperwork by the deadline listed above will result in the team
losing the berth and travel monies won.  The berth will then be passed to the next highest finisher.

PARK POLICIES:  No Food or Beverage allowed in the park. This includes parking areas. No pets allowed.
Players and spectators are expected to follow park rules at all times.
No outside food or alcohol will be allowed to be brought into the complex or parking lot.

CONDUCT: Managers are responsible for knowing the rules and keeping their players & spectators under control. 
 Abusive language/behavior will not be tolerated.  
Spectators, players and/or teams may be removed from the tournament without refund.
