Entry in to this tournament constitutes acknowledgement and agreement to this condition.
Please DO NOT call the Tournament Director and request an exemption from Saturday AM
start as all teams will be expected to play Saturday Morning.

and select: NSA Team Sanction (Fill out the form & Select IL-16" National Director)
Entry fees, rosters, and other information MUST be received by the 16 Inch
National Director, no later than midnight on September 10, 2008   
Entry Fee is $275.00 with payment made by Money Order, Cashiers Check, or Cash ONLY. 
Make funds payable to: Illinois NSA
Late entries will NOT be accepted.  Personal Checks will NOT be accepted.
Under NO circumstances will a team be permitted to submit a roster at the tournament site.

YOUR STATE DIRECTOR must submit Rosters to the tournament site.
Mandatory Roster checks  will be conducted prior to the team’s first game. 
Each player will be required to have a government issue picture ID at all times.  
No Driver's License or government issue photo ID, no play.
Names will NOT be added to any roster at the tournament site.
Additional roster checks may be conducted at any time during the tournament.

A Blind draw will be in effect, except for the four top returning teams will be placed in the bracket in which
they finished during the 2007 World Series.  The draw will be conducted by the National Director at his office.

SOFTBALL:  All balls will be sanctioned NSA Softball.  The tournament director and Umpire in Chief will be responsible for the balls used.

BATS:   Any bat will be official, with the require tape on the bat to be on the bat due to safety.
Only NSA approved bats will be allowed.  Check the National Website for a complete 
and up to date listing of approved equipment.   www.playnsa.com  click on:  Approved Equipment
Please check bats by Manufacturer - Model NUMBER and NAME, if a bat is not posted on
the approved list, it will NOT be allowed.    ** Note: It is the coaches/players' responsibility
to check their bat(s) to the list prior to bringing them into play.
                        You may contact the manufacturer to inquire on the status of an unlisted bat.

GAMES:  It is required that all teams be AT THE FIELD, READY TO PLAY - 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO
SCHEDULED GAME TIME.  GAMES MAY BEGIN UP TO 30 MINUTES EARLY IF FIELD IS OPEN.  

PROTEST: There will be a $75.00 CASH ONLY protest fee for all protests.  If protest is allowed, the fee will be refunded.

CONDITIONS: The tournament committee reserves the right to rule on matters as they may occur,
including any deemed necessary to complete the tournament. This includes changing the tournament
format, due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, etc.). The committee assumes that all players are 
competing at their own risk and will not be liable for accidents or injuries. Entry in to this tournament 
constitutes agreement of these conditions.

UNIFORMS: To be in strict accordance with NSA team dress code.    NO METAL CLEATS!

PLAYING RULES: NSA rules will govern all play in strict accordance with the NSA Rule Book.

ADMISSION:  The tournament will have no admission for anyone.

CONDUCT: Managers are responsible for knowing the rules and keeping their players &
spectators under control.   Abusive language/behavior will not be tolerated.  
Spectators, Players and/or teams may be removed from the tournament without refund.

AWARDS:  Individual & team sponsor awards will be given along with Offensive-Defensive and
12 all State Awards.  A travel fee will also be given in accordance with the number of teams participating.
