ONLINE INSTRUCTIONS FOR TEAMS: REGISTER YOUR TEAM       ENTER ROSTER ONLINE    ENTER TOURNAMENTS  12/5/11

ALL TEAMS MUST REGISTER ONLINE.  
TEAMS PARTICIPATING IN TOURNAMENTS MUST ENTER THEIR ROSTER ONLINE.  LEAGUE TEAMS DO NOT.

PLEASE NOTE: 
Once you receive your registration number, you can ENTER TOURNAMENTS ONLINE or  ENTER YOUR 
ROSTER ONLINE AT ANY TIME.  You DO NOT have to enter your roster before entering tournaments.

NOTE:  HYPERLINKS ARE BLACK not Blue, they look like regular typing.

1. REGISTER Your TEAM Online:

• Go to: www.PlayNSA.com
• Click on: "NSA Team Sanction  …" (Right side of page)  OR Sanction Instructions if you need help
  Option 1:  If you are a new team, or a brand new coach you can use this option.
  Option 2:  If you are a returning team or coach, you can use last years sanction to pull up your information and
  make any UPDATES, including team name, age group, contact information before submitting the form.
  You can also check off any players on your roster that will be returning to your team - they will automatically show
  up on your roster once the team has been approved.  Please make sure to verify the players address has not changed.
• Fill in all information – make sure your EMAIL is CORRECT!    Example: xxx@aol.com  not just  xxx@aol
• Director Selection – Select STATE and DIRECTOR (Director/Region/Area) your team is registering with.
• Select Team’s: Class & Division
• Select Password - Keep track of this password.
• Submit Form

NOTE: You will be instructed where to MAIL the check for the Sanction/Registration fee.  OR if payment by charge is accepted,
you will receive instructions on how to pay by charge.  The PlayNSA.com system does not accept charges, but some individual
directors do accept payment by charge.

Once payment is received, the office will approve your registration and you will receive your registration number via e-mail.
Note:  The email you receive with your registration number is your receipt and registration card for the year.

Once you have received YOUR REGISTRATION NUMBER: 
PLEASE NOTE: 
Once you receive your registration number, you can ENTER TOURNAMENTS ONLINE or  ENTER YOUR 
ROSTER ONLINE AT ANY TIME.  You DO NOT have to enter your roster before entering tournaments.

2.  ROSTERS Online:  TOURNAMENT TEAMS MUST ENTER THEIR ROSTERS ONLINE.
          Roster MUST be Online PRIOR to participating in your FIRST TOURNAMENT!                     
        League teams DO NOT enter your roster online.

                    NOTE: ALL Fields are MANDATORY !      INCORRECT or MISSING information will make player ineligible to participate.

                           Collect the Following Information From EACH Player before beginning:

• Player’s Name – No nicknames (NO Bubba/DJ/Wiz)
• Player’s Full Address - Physical address where player lives - NO PO BOX, City, State and Zip Code
• Player’s Date of Birth
• Player’s Driver’s License Number – (for adults)  IF NO DL#, use your STATE’S Photo ID Number.

If you have forgotten your password, or did not select one:

• Click on: Forgot & Change Password?
• Enter: Registration Number AND Email Address on Account, then Click on: I Forgot My Password
• Your replacement password will be emailed to you by the system. (This only takes a minute.)

• Click on: TEAM ROSTER
• Click on ADD NEW PLAYER Type in all information for a player and SAVE
• Click on ADD NEW PLAYERType in NEXT Players information and Click: SAVE – continue for all players.
• When Finished with all players CLICK: SUBMIT
• Print Roster: The roster will print with blanks for signatures.
         Click on "Printer Friendly Version" at the top of the page!

You MUST take a signed copy of the ONLINE ROSTER to tournament sites.
 MAKE SURE TO GET INDIVIDUALS TO SIGN THEIR OWN NAME.

Note: IT IS NOT REQUIRED for ADULT teams to have team insurance, YOUTH TEAMS DO.
          Adult teams may purchase team insurance, or select NO INSURANCE.

NOTE: If you need to add a player at a later time, follow the directions above. 
ALL NSA roster rules apply to the online roster.  Maximum number of players is 25.

NOTE: If a player’s address changes, or if a mistake is found after submitting the roster, you will need to contact the director you registered through to make corrections.

• Go to: www.PlayNSA.com  CLICK ON: TOURNAMENT SEARCH
• Select: Prompts for Future Tournaments you may want to enter
• Search for tournaments to Enter – THEN CLICK ON: DETAILS (Magnifying Glass)
  
   Note:  PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE "COMMENT AREA" OF EACH TOURNAMENT – VITAL INFORMATION REGARDING EACH TOURNAMENT WILL BE POSTED THERE.   Example: PAYMENT IS REQUIRED BEFORE TEAM IS ACCEPTED INTO TOURNAMENT.

• TO ENTER THE TOURNAMENT, scroll down to the bottom of the DETAIL SCREEN, enter your sanction number & password. Click on: SIGN UP   The Tournament Director will receive an email that you are requesting entry.  Please check the comment section to verify if pre-payment is required.  It is possible your team will NOT be accepted until payment is received.  You will also receive an email at this time - STATING YOU HAVE APPLIED FOR ENTRY - For Michigan Tournaments - your team is not accepted until payment is received.
• Michigan teams can then MAIL in payment to address shown when entering, or may return to the Michigan Schedule to pay entry fees by charge card.
  Note:  Entering tournaments online will NOT show the Early Entry Discount amounts, please remember if you PAY in Full by the Early Discount Dates to submit the reduced fee if mailing entry.  Charge payments online allow for selection of the Early Entry Discounts.
• For Michigan Tournaments - YOU WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL STATING YOU HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED INTO THE TOURNAMENT WHEN PAYMENT IS RECEIVED and your team is officially accepted to participate in the tournament!

Note: If you DO NOT find tournaments in your area, please SELECT "ALL or ANY" for your State.  If you still DO NOT find tournaments contact your State Director.

Note: You will be unable to enter NIT’s/Regional/Worlds/Super World Series Tournaments online.
YOU MUST ENTER THESE TOURNAMENTS THROUGH YOUR "HOME STATE" DIRECTOR.
PLEASE SEE POST SEASON PACKETS FOR ENTRY INFORMATION FOR THESE TOURNAMENTS.

PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE "COMMENT AREA" OF EACH TOURNAMENT – VITAL INFORMATION REGARDING EACH TOURNAMENT WILL BE POSTED THERE.

Example: PAYMENT IS REQUIRED BEFORE TEAM IS ACCEPTED INTO TOURNAMENT.
