PAY ONLINE by CHARGE  Softball Prices

Michigan Adult Teams can PAY for selected tournaments ONLINE by Charge.
Teams can also pay for their NSA registration fee ONLINE by charge.
Teams can enter tournaments online and Mail payments, but must meet all deadlines.  
Certain tournaments will still require an official NSA Post Season Entry Form and are marked as such.

The Grand Slam Tournament Series, is a series of Tournaments your team can play in to earn points toward Travel Expenses.  
Each Tournament is a WORLD SERIES and SUPER REGIONAL QUALIFIER.
  

Entry Deadlines for Grand Slams:  5:00 PM on WEDNESDAY prior to the tournament date.
Discounts offered to teams that pay 1 full week in advance - by FRIDAY, one week prior to the tournament date.

    ALL Michigan Teams wanting to participate in TOURNAMENT PLAY must register online as a Tournament Team.
   League registrations will NOT be accepted for Tournament Play.

NSA Rules - It is the Coach/Manager's responsibility to know the NSA Rules and bylaws.  Ignorance of any NSA rule or bylaw does NOT negate the penalty.

     CHECK THE RULE BOOK FOR A COMPLETE LISTING OF RULES REGARDING ROSTERS & Player Eligibility.  Contact your State Director if you have questions.
     All Bats must be on the Approved Equipment - Bat List for NSA sanctioned events - Available online 24/7 at www.PlayNSA.com  click on: Approved Equipment Select: Approved BAT LIST.
     All teams MUST complete a NSA roster on the NSA ONLINE SYSTEM. It must be complete with all information correct.  Teams must bring a signed copy to turn in for each tournament.
    
Roster checks may be done anytime during the tournament. PLAYERS MUST SHOW DRIVERS LICENSE or GOVERNMENT ISSUED PICTURE ID.
     Players are required to have photo ID at all times.

Points are from the NSA National Point System ONLY.

No added bonus points in your state will count toward the awarding of the Super Berth.  Berth will be awarded to the
Highest Point Leader after the STATE Tournament that has not already received a Super World Berth & met the criteria.

  Team MUST meet the following Criteria:  Team must have played in a minimum of 5 Tournaments, one of which must have been State.
                                                                   (At LEAST - 4 Tournaments + State Championships)

Men’s Michigan NSA Grand Slam Membership Pay $1100 by 4/1/11
Membership gets you 4 Michigan Grand Slam Tournaments of your choice, the One Michigan Super World NIT
in your class and the Michigan State Championship.   Savings of $125-$225.

Your MUST submit the list of tournaments you are selecting for your Membership NO LATER THAN 4-1-11.
You can EDIT your schedule IF notice is given by Friday, 1 week PRIOR to scheduled tournament.

 

Grand Slam Entry Fees: $200     ($175 if paid by discount deadline)
DISCOUNT of $25 if paid one week prior to the tournament entry date.

Teams supply balls and $13 per game per team umpire fee paid at field at game time.
Hit your own Ball!
Teams supply NSA Approved Optic Yellow Black Stitch - 12" .44 core/400 lb or .40 core/400 or .52 core/275 softballs at all times.
Defensive team and/or Umpire must be able to Identify the Manufacturers core rating or the ball can be removed from play.
Offensive Team: Puts ball in play at the beginning of EACH inning.   Offensive Team: Replaces the ball each time the ball is hit out of play.
Balls will be sold at each site or see "Softball Prices" for team pricing.


NSA Registration fee is $25 and must be completed online.


CA$H AWARDS - Men's
Men’s – C/D/E (Single Class) – 1st Place $40 x per team, 2nd Place $20 x per team, 3rd Place $10 x per team

Men’s Combo Divisions – B/C, C/D, D/E – Overall 1st Place $15 x per team -and- Overall 2nd Place $10 x per team
PLUS Highest Upper Division $15 x per team -and- Highest Lower Division $15 x per team, 2nd Highest Lower Division $10 x per team.
IF there are no LOWER teams, the cash award will go the the 1st Place team.
Complexes / Directors – Will supply ALL Awards and they will be required to submit what they will be awarding and posted on website.


MEN’S C/D/E OVERALL GRAND SLAM CHAMPIONS AWARDS
 
Overall Champions are the teams with Highest POINTS Including the National Points System + MI Bonus Points

Tournaments included for overall points – Grand Slams, NIT, State, Super Regional and World Series.

1st Place – Pullovers     2nd Place – TBA

Park Policy: Every NSA Complex has their own Park rules and these rules will have to be abided by or offenders of the rules will be eliminated
from the tournament and could also receive a one (1) year suspension from NSA play.

BONUS POINTS WILL BE ADDED AFTER WORLD SERIES:

   
     Grand Slam,  NIT's, State, Super Regional and World Series - Any Combination of these tournaments
            Play 4 Tournaments - 100 Bonus Points 
            Play 5 Tournaments -  200 Bonus Points
            Play 6  Tournaments - 300 Bonus Points
            Play 7  Tournaments -  400 Bonus Points
            Play 8  Tournaments - 500 Bonus Points
            Play 9 Tournaments - 600 Bonus Points
            Play 10 Tournaments - 700 Bonus Points
            Play 11 Tournaments – 800 Bonus Points
            Play 12 Tournaments – 900 Bonus Points
            Play 12 Tournaments - 1000 Bonus Points
  Note: Participating in Grand Slams, NIT's, Regional & Worlds count toward Total Tournaments.

 PLAY UP IN CLASSIFICATION for a Weekend and get BONUS POINTS:
          Men's "B" State - C teams can get 250 BONUS POINTS.
          Men's "C" State - D teams can get 250 BONUS POINTS.

The National Point System will be used to seed MI State Championships.
