STEP 1: REGISTER YOUR TEAM - Available ONLINE!     Click here to Register Now for 2006!

All teams that participate in NSA tournaments must be registered with NSA for the 2006 season.
Any NSA registered team may participate in Qualifiers, NIT, State or Regional
Tournaments, but Must Qualify to Participate in the NSA WORLD and SUPER WORLD SERIES.
Once your team registers online, and we receive your MAILED IN (Michigan Teams Can pay online w/charge) registration fee,
our office will "APPROVE" your registration.
You will then receive your 2006 Registration number via e-mail.
You can then use your registration number to purchase team insurance, enter NSA Tournaments online, and enter your roster online.
The NSA Registration fee for the 2006 season is $20.00 per team.  
Note:  The email you receive with your registration number is your receipt and registration card for the year.   
NOTE: TEAMS CAN BE RECLASSIFIED ANYTIME DURING THE SEASON DUE TO THE OVERALL STRENGTH OF THE TEAM!
          Please make sure to select the proper classification at the beginning of the year!

PLEASE NOTE:  After receiving your registration number, you can submit your roster online at any time. 
You DO NOT have to enter your roster before entering tournaments.

STEP 2: TEAM INSURANCE
All teams that participate in NSA Youth tournaments must provide proof of TOURNAMENT INSURANCE for the team.
Your team will not be allowed to participate with out a copy being left at the tournament site.

Note Regarding Insurance: Proof must show Amount of Coverage as on an actual certificate.
A LETTER stating you have team insurance IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. 
INDIVIDUAL PLAYER INSURANCE CARDS are NOT ACCEPTABLE.
Please Note: If your team has Individual Player Insurance cards, you need to contact your
Insurance Company & request a CERTIFICATE of Insurance for the team to submit for NSA play. 
   Teams will NOT be allowed to participate without a proper CERTIFICATE with proof of team insurance.

You will need your NSA registration number in order to purchase the T&F insurance. Although it is not necessary that 
you purchase the insurance that NSA offers, please take the time to make an informed decision.

STEP 3: ENTER TOURNAMENTS - Enter Tournaments - MUST "ENTER" THROUGH THE ONLINE SYSTEM.

Your spot in the tournament is NOT saved, until we receive payment.  You will receive a confirmation email
that we have received your payment.  New: Michigan teams can choose to pay for tournaments online w/charge.

• Check the Tournament Info - Watch for:  ENTRY DEADLINES/Min # Games/Gate Fees, etc.
• Select tournaments to participate in

• Returning FOR 2006 - Teams MUST "ENTER" tournaments through the NSA ONLINE SYSTEM.
  You MUST have your 2006 Registration Number BEFORE you can enter tournaments online.
  Rosters DO NOT need to be online before you enter tournaments.
  
  Michigan NSA teams can choose to pay Entry Fees with charge cards online.  See Tournament Schedule
  MAILED ENTRY FEES ARE STILL ACCEPTED.  TEAMS MUST ENTER TOURNAMENT THROUGH THE ONLINE SYSTEM. 
  PLEASE INCLUDE TEAM NAME/AGE GROUP/WHICH TOURNAMENT YOU ARE PAYING FOR & YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION WITH FEE.
  YOU CAN WRITE ONE CHECK FOR MULTIPLE ENTRIES.

• TRAVEL PERMIT - If your team wishes to travel outside of MI for an NSA NIT or Qualifying tournament you need to submit for Each Tournament.
• Check for TOURNAMENT RULES

STEP 4: ENTER ROSTER ONLINE - ALL Tournament TEAMS MUST use the Official NSA ONLINE ROSTER.
You must first have received your registration number via email, before entering your roster online.

You will need the following information for your players BEFORE you begin to enter your Roster Online.
1.  Correct Spelling of Player's Name - Please NO Nicknames - NO C.J.'s - Use Carolyn Joan
2.  Full Address - Include City, State, Zip
3.  Player's Date of Birth
4.  Player's Driver's License Number or State ID Number for ADULT FP TEAMS. 
 

STEP 5:   READ  "WHAT TO BRING"
The above 4 steps are a good start, but this area will be very helpful in answering other questions you may have.
It will also help in determining what you will need to bring to each and every NSA tournament.
