1st place teams receiving a paid berth, must post $250 bond (entry
fee) & Proper Paperwork upon
acceptance of berth.
Teams receiving a paid berth will
receive a refund of their BOND upon teams participation at the Super World
Series.
Entry DEADLINE:
Teams receiving a berth at a Super NIT have 10
days from NIT to accept w/payment or berth will be passed.
Teams receiving a berth at their State Championship -OR- the NSA World
Series have until Wednesday,
August 9, 2006. ALL information must be received by our
office by August 9th.

Due to the addition of State Champions receiving a berth, it is impossible to seed the tournament.

It is extremely
important that every team have a representative at Check In. The
tournament committee
will be providing information designed
to make the teams tournament experience a pleasant, hassle free one.
Admission Passes will be available
for purchase during check in. We recommend if at all possible to
purchase admission passes during
check in to avoid delays entering the facility on Saturday.
If you must miss the check in, due to travel arrangements or problems,

There will be a HOME RUN DERBY Friday Night - Sign Up near the admissions Table - by 7:00 PM!
Derby will begin approximately 7:30 PM - Depending on number of Players
and coaches signed up, they may be able to lift the limit of 2 players or coaches per team.
Let's see how the coaches handle the pressure!
Offer:
There are electronic scoreboards for 7 of the 9 fields
we will be using at EastSide Center.
We would like to request that one of your spectators should feel free to
keep score for your team.
Each control is located in the upper deck of the concession stand and is
air conditioned.
We can offer ONE FREE ADMISSION PASS per team for a person wishing to
take advantage
of keeping score for your team. Talk to us during Check In….
All
Managers must attend the manager's meeting. We cannot over emphasize the
importance
of attending this meeting. This is the ONLY time the
tournament rules, format, and any necessary
changes will be covered. Last minute information
regarding the tournament schedule, rules and Super
World events will be announced. The Tournament
Committee will address questions from the managers.
Coaches that
may miss CHECK IN AND the MANAGER'S MEETING:
Check in with
an NSA Director at the opening ceremonies on where to pick up your information
packet.

ROSTER and INSURANCE:
Super World Series Committee, we are requesting you submit a copy with the entry form
Names will NOT be added to any
roster at the tournament site for ANY
reason. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Birth Certificates –
Driver’s License:
Coach or manager must have on hand at all times, in case of protest.
NSA does NOT need copies.
SOFTBALL: NSA Approved black stitched optic
yellow softballs are provided.
BATS: Only NSA approved bats will
be allowed. Check the National Website for a complete
and up to date listing of approved equipment. www.playnsa.com

Please check bats by Manufacturer - Model NUMBER and NAME, if a
bat is not posted
on the approved
list, it will NOT be allowed.
Note: It is the
coaches/players' responsibility to check their bats to the list prior to
bringing them into play.
Player/Team bats are subject to checks.
PROTEST: There will be a $75.00 CASH
ONLY protest fee. If protest is
allowed, the fee will be refunded.
Umpire judgment calls are final.
CONDITIONS: The tournament committee
reserves the right to rule on matters as they may occur, including
any deemed necessary to complete the tournament.
This includes changing the tournament format, due to
unforeseen circumstances (weather, etc.). The
committee assumes that all players are competing at their
own risk and will not be liable for accidents or injuries.
Entry in to this tournament constitutes agreement
of these conditions.
UNIFORMS: To be in strict accordance
with NSA team dress code.

METAL TIPPED CLEATS!
PLAYING
RULES:
NSA rules will govern all play in strict accordance with the NSA Rule Book.
It is the coach/managers responsibility to know the rules and bylaws of NSA.
Ignorance of a rule or
bylaw does not negate the penalty.
RULES FOR ADDITION OF PLAYER(S):
Rules
governing the addition of player(s) to the roster of the Girl's
Fast Pitch SUPER World Series. Players can only be added if space is
available on existing roster,
20 Player maximum.
a. Up to three (3) players may be added to the existing World Series
Roster.
b. Player(s) must have played and be listed on a NSA
registered team.
c. Player (s) additions can be added from a team
that has not qualified for the SUPER WORLD SERIES
Tournament via State, NIT or
the World Series.
d. All roster additions must be approved and signed by
a NSA State Director of a NSA Zone Vice-President
and forwarded to the Tournament
Director along with a copy to the NSA National Office.
e. Deadline for additions must be in the Tournament
Director's Office and the National Office 10 days prior
to the start of the Girl's Fast Pitch
Super World Series.
PENALTY: The Manager/Coach can be suspended by
the NSA for up to two (2) years for violating the above
sections of By-Laws.
TOURNAMENT ADMISSION: Due to the short time between tournaments, there are NO advance sales on passes.

A
maximum of three coaches per team will be admitted free.
Roster players and coach passes will be enclosed in the manager’s packet at
check in.
No refunds on tournament admission for any reason.
SCRIMMAGE
GAMES or Practice Fields: If your
team is interested in a practice fields or a SCRIMMAGE GAME
before the tournament begins, please call VIC LAREDO @ 309-253-8222
Vic can make arrangements for teams to scrimmage or let you know where to
practice that will not cause issues.
Umpires will be supplied for scrimmage games at a nominal fee of $30 per team.
HOTEL - HOUSING INFORMATION:
Please let the hotel know you are with NSA, if you do not, they may
tell you they are full, as
Rooms at these hotels are "BLOCKED OUT" for NSA SUPER WORLD Participants.
Note: IF you use the 800# for the hotels they may not be aware of the NSA
Blocked rooms.

Teams can have their pictures taken the night of opening ceremonies, or before
their game during the weekend.
Details will be discussed at the Mangers Meeting, and the Photographer will be
at Check In to schedule team photos.
Team photo plaques will be available for purchase at the tournament site.
Your team will receive all photo orders before leaving the tournament.
