1st place teams receiving a paid berth, must post $250 bond (entry
fee) upon
acceptance of berth.
Teams receiving a paid berth will
receive a refund of their BOND upon teams participation at the Super World
Series.

PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU INTEND TO ACCEPT/Decline THE
BERTH AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
AUGUST
18th, 2004 is the entry deadline. ALL information must be received by our
office on the 18th.
If you did NOT submit the entry at the World Series
Tournament, SEND ALL INFORMATION DIRECTLY
TO THE NSA Northern Zone Office - SEE ENTRY FORM.

TOURNAMENT TO YOUR STATE DIRECTOR.
Warm Up Games
for any team that can participate on Friday, September 3rd will be offered.
Warm Up Games
will be
scheduled starting at NOON on Friday. Note: It is NOT possible for teams
to REQUEST a specific game time on
Friday, but
we will try our best to accommodate. Times and fields will be filled on a
First Come/First Serve Basis.
Due to
scheduling of umpires, teams must give at least one (1) week notice if planning
on attending the Warm-Up session.
Cost per game
will be $30 per team. ALL Games must be completed by 5:00 pm with 1 hour
30 minute time limits.

TOURNAMENT DRAW:
Tournament draw will be based
on the team’s finish in the World Series
or Super World Series NIT’s.
CHECK IN: Check in will be at the
EastSide Centre Football Stadium.

It is extremely
important that every team have a representative at Check In. The
tournament committee
will be providing information designed
to make the teams tournament experience a pleasant, hassle free one.
Admission Passes will be available
for purchase during check in. We recommend if at all possible to
purchase admission passes during
check in to avoid delays entering the facility on Saturday.
If you must miss the check in, due to travel arrangements or problems,

All
Managers must attend the manager's meeting. We cannot over emphasize the
importance
of attending this meeting. This is the ONLY time the
tournament rules, format, and any necessary
changes will be covered. Last minute information
regarding the tournament schedule, rules and Super
World events will be announced. The Tournament
Committee will address questions from the managers.
Coaches that
May miss CHECK IN AND the MANAGER'S MEETING:
Check in with
an NSA Director at the opening ceremonies on where to pick up your information
packet.

ROSTER and INSURANCE:
The
Roster and Insurance your team submitted at the Super NIT or World Series will
be
forwarded to the Super World Series Committee.
Names will NOT be added to any
roster at the tournament site for ANY
reason. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Birth Certificates –
Driver’s License:
Coach or manager must have on hand at all times, in case of protest.
NSA does NOT need copies.
SOFTBALL: NSA black stitched optic
yellow softballs are provided.
BATS: Only NSA approved bats will
be allowed. Check the National Website for a complete
and up to date listing of approved equipment. www.playnsa.com

Please check bats by Manufacturer - Model NUMBER and NAME, if a
bat is not posted
on the approved
list, it will NOT be allowed.
Player/Team bats are subject to checks.
You
may contact the manufacturer to inquire on the status of an unlisted bat.
PROTEST: There will be a $75.00 CASH
ONLY protest fee. If protest is
allowed, the fee will be refunded.
Umpire judgment calls are final.
CONDITIONS: The tournament committee
reserves the right to rule on matters as they may occur, including
any deemed necessary to complete the tournament.
This includes changing the tournament format, due to
unforeseen circumstances (weather, etc.). The
committee assumes that all players are competing at their
own risk and will not be liable for accidents or injuries.
Entry in to this tournament constitutes agreement
of these conditions.
UNIFORMS: To be in strict accordance
with NSA team dress code.
NO METAL or
METAL TIPPED CLEATS!
PLAYING
RULES:
NSA rules will govern all play in strict accordance with the NSA Rule Book.
RULES FOR ADDITION OF PLAYER(S): Rules
governing the addition of player(s) to the roster of the Girl's
Fast Pitch SUPER World Series. Players can only be added if space is
available on existing roster,
20 Player maximum.
a. Up to three (3) players may be added to the existing World Series
Roster.
b. Player(s) must have played and be listed on a NSA
registered team.
c. Player(s) must have played on a team that advanced
no farther than the NSA State Tournament, but
could have played in a NSA sponsored
NIT or a World Series Qualifier.
d. Player(s) may NOT have played in a current year NSA
Girl's Fast Pitch World Series or have been listed
on a current years World Series
Roster.
e. All roster additions must be approved and signed by
a NSA State Director of a NSA Zone Vice-President
and forwarded to the Tournament
Director along with a copy to the NSA National Office.
f. Deadline for additions must be in the Tournament
Director's Office and the National Office 10 days prior
to the start of the Girl's Fast Pitch
Super World Series.
PENALTY: The Manager/Coach can be suspended by
the NSA for up to two (2) years for violating the above
section 4 (a-f) By-Laws.
TOURNAMENT ADMISSION: Due to the short time between tournaments, there are NO advance sales on passes.

Souvenir Photo with Super World Series Border will be taken by "The Sports
Section",
Ken Brooke Photographer.
Teams can have their pictures taken the night of opening ceremonies, or before
their game during the weekend.
Details will be discussed at the Mangers Meeting, and the Photographer will be
at Check In to schedule team photos.
Team photo plaques will be available for purchase at the tournament site.
Each team will receive ONE FREE PHOTO,
compliments of the tournament sponsors.
Your team will receive all photo orders before leaving the tournament.

gift swap is scheduled at the first game. Most teams are trying to

Shade tents are allowed.
Water Jugs in the dugouts will be supplied by the facility.
Your team may bring their own water
jugs or water coolers into the facility.
NO Outside food or drink is allowed into the facility.
